more often than not, i see the world through a lens.
i am a (photo)journalist living in kenya. before i moved to africa, i lived in memphis, planting gardens, drawing with sidewalk chalk and hanging out with neighborhood kids. (to pay the bills, i took pictures for the newspaper.)
i’m addicted to coffee, and to the company of people who are alive.
a sometimes-vegan, i’ll eat whatever is put in front of me if i’m away from home.
i believe that people have value and truth is powerful. this is why i tell stories: to give a voice to the voiceless, and to challenge what we know.
